Cinnamon Honey Roasted Peanut Butter

Peanut butter is an amazing substance. It’s even more amazing when you can make it yourself. The good news is if you have a food proccessor, it is incredibly simple to make! Just process peanuts until smooth and adjust salt as needed. Feel free to taste-test while processing…my favorite part!

Of course, the fun part of making your own peanut butter is playing with add-ins. I made a simple, comforting combo that will be great for breakfast — cinnamon and honey.

Cinnamon Honey Roasted Peanut Butter

1 cup honey roasted peanuts
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp honey
Pinch of salt

Process peanuts for about ten minutes, scraping down sides as needed. The mixture should become smooth and drippy.
Add cinnamon, honey, salt and pulse until combined.

Enjoy your homemade peanut butter!

Fact of the day:
The word “escalator” predates the verb “escalate.”
